1) Insurance, Covers and Waivers


i)Insurance package is included in the rental price and contains:

-Third Party Liability (TPL) covers the driver’s liability for damage to any property, excluding the rental car itself. It also covers third parties for death and injury. TPL is subject to the terms as described in the insurance brochure.
-Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) limits the driver’s liability to the rental car, subject to the terms of the rental agreement. The driver is generally only responsible only in case of incident for the first portion, known as excess (The amount of excess for each category can be found when; you make a search for a car in the rental terms of the check out form).
-Fire protection (FP) limits the driver’s liability for costs incurred by fire on the rental car –to the excess amount, subject to the terms of the rental agreement. FP protection insurance will not cover persons and personal belongings might be in the car.
-Theft Protection (TP) limits the driver’s liability for costs incurred by the theft of the rental car – or damage incurred by the theft or attempted theft – to the excess amount, subject to the terms of the rental agreement. TP protection insurance will not cover persons and personal effects/items, which may be covered by the driver’s own travel or household policies.
-Driver’s accident insurance (DAI)
Insures the driver in case of collision damage with other vehicle, subject to the terms as described in the insurance brochure.

 


ii) Total Cover(optional)
Full Damage Protection
If you purchase the Full Damage Protection waiver product,
the excess is set at zero, meaning the driver’s liability is waived entirely (0 euro risk) for the rental car.


Full damage waiver will cover charges for damages and looses to the rental car’s:
• bodywork, roof, undercarriage
• windscreen, windows, mirrors
• wheels, hubcaps
• tires
• from theft of the rental car
• from fire on the rental car
• interior
• engine, clutch and battery
• Parts, locks

 

Insurance  and covers apply to all authorized drivers of the rental car.


2) Extra Services

i) Ferrying the car out of Corfu
Clients wishing to drive the car out of Corfu should let us know in advance and must have a written authorization from
our company. Plus an extra charge is required for road service and kms-mileage of mainland and other islands (Rate
varies according to vehicle category).
ii) Cross-Border and Boundary rules
Please note that cross-border travel is not allowed with this car hire company. Taking the car outside of the National borders of Greece is prohibited.
